Workshop – Creating Sea Creatures at Økolariet

During the Ascension holiday, children and adults are invited to dive beneath the surface — quite literally — when I host my very first Drømmeskabningerne workshop inspired by the wonders of the sea.

Økolariet in Vejle is dedicating this period to life in the fjord, and on Friday 15 May from 11:00–14:00, I will be part of the programme with a hands‑on creative session for all ages.

Participants can create their own sea creature from discarded gift wrap, shaped by imagination, curiosity, and a touch of play. The workshop is rooted in my paper‑cut universe Drømmeskabningerne, where new species emerge from leftovers — small reminders of how creativity and care can give new life to what we usually throw away.

I will guide the process step by step, making it easy for both children and adults to join in. And of course, everyone gets to take their finished artwork home.

For me, this workshop marks a special milestone: it is the first time I use my own Drømmeskabningerne paper cuts as the foundation for a public workshop. I am excited to see which new sea creatures will come to life when imagination meets the deep blue.

Time and place:
Friday 15 May, 11:00–14:00. Økolariet, Vejle
Free and open to all.
