I have created a new paper‑cut universe: Dream Creatures (Drømmeskabningerne).
In this universe, I work with discarded gift wrap — paper that should have been sorted as residual waste and then burned. I find that a shame. Paper is a resource that still holds potential, and in this universe it is given new life through creativity, upcycling, and imagination.
When I tear and cut into the paper, animals appear — creatures I only dare to dream of. Species that have never existed, yet somehow feel like beings I miss. Animals that might one day live in a richer nature with more biodiversity and greater variety.
I now also offer workshops where participants create their own Dream Creatures. Along the way, I guide them through the process, and together we bring new species to life — shaped by imagination and the shared experience of creating something together.
